Stolen Art: Earth Day Jam 2008 Poster

Erratum: Ed Arevalo, the guy owning the blog the EDJ poster is posted in has no connection whatsoever with the production company that had this poster made or worked on this event. I believe as of this moment, options are being considered whether immediate legal action can be made against Dimitri Studios for stealing intellectual property.I apologize to Ed for painting him as the main person involved in the creation of this poster.

There’s some bloke who made this year’s Earth Day Jam poster and used one of *slumberdoll aka Tricia Gosingtian’s work which is a shot of *blackmage9 aka Alodia Gosiengfiao wearing black and her well-known boots and holding a bass guitar. Tricia is obviously fuming and disappointed over this because this poster is all over Metro Manila and whoever made the poster didn’t even ask for permission to use the image. And on a government poster no less! For shame!

UPDATE: Here’s the thread for Edjie’s blog entry regarding Dimitri Studios using Tricia and Edjie’s material without permission.

The artist even had the balls to remove Edjie’s face. Probably thought people would not recognize it if they plonked a large globe on her head. NOT.
