Remember the Force FX scale model lightsabers from Star Wars? HY2M has recently announced a 1/12 scale model of the Gundam beam saber. It looks awesome and I’m tempted to buy one and put it on my office desk but might not for fear of being fired for bringing a deadly weapon in the office or have some Gundam maniac run away with it on the night shift.

errr… dontcha think that it a bit the same with the beam saber on the Star Wars Saga?…
Well, not exactly. If you look at it carefully and if you’ve built the MG Gundam ver. OYW, the three lines near the end of the hilt are exactly the same between the two. And I don’t think this one comes with a blade.
