It’s been quite some time since I last talked about the Type F. Now, we have actual merchandise pics of the 1/100 model kit. Come have a look.
Box art reminds me too much about the RX-78-2 ver. OYW box art where the classic image of the RX-78-2 slashing through a Zaku is shown.
I’m actually liking the dark, metallic face of this one. Gives the mobile suit a very threatening look.
I’m interested in the fact that this one comes with that large blade that appears to be an earlier version of one of the pieces of the Seven Sword System. Build looks nice and color scheme is also nice although I would have preferred a less pinkish hue for this one to make it look menacing. But then, if it was too red, the details on the panel lines and whatnot end up appearing to be lost.
At the moment, the only Gundam 00 MS that I’m considering buying is the Exia, in 00 Region fashion. If they were to release this in 00 Region, then I might want to buy it. As for a kit, I might not be that easily bothered to build it. ^_^ But that’s just me. I’m quite picky with the kits that I buy and build.

i don’t like almost all of the mecha design in the series of Gundam 00. I like the UC gundam, especially from the series of Gundam 0079 and Zeta Gundam. oh, well, but i think i won’t refuse the plamo of GN-000 0 Gundam and Gundam Plutone…

Hmmm… It really depends. It’s not like I always go out and buy a bunch of Gundams on a monthly bases. I’m quite picky with the models that I actually buy and build because one, they’re expensive and I have a lot of other personal plans that need to be prioritized. But I think the most expensive spending spree I did was two Christmases ago when I bought three things: MG Strike + IWSP, PG Strike Gundam and PG Skygrasper + Aile Strike Pack. The paint for these babies added to the total cost which is Php 7,700 + Php2,500 + Php2,300 + Php2,000.
The color scheme reminds me of Epyon, and it has that lean, “special forces” look. Really, the red/white/blue color scheme on hero Gundams makes them look less and less like elite units. I especially like the two saber style.
