Gundam Unicorn has another Zeon MS showing up. It’s a modified Geara Zulu called a Zee Zulu. It appears to have mole-like claws mounted on its lower arms and holds daggers as melee weapons. Looks like a fast assault close-combat unit. But that’s not as exciting as this:
Oh my goodness me. This dark mystery Gundam appears to be have a more powerful pilot than the chap piloting Unicorn Gundam. Remember that Unicorn Gundam can only stay in Destroy Mode for a very short period of time due to the strain it puts on the pilot’s mind. For this mystery Gundam to defeat Unicorn within that short period of time goes to show either of two things: the Psycoframe system on the mystery Gundam is more powerful and stable, or the pilot has stronger mind than the protagonist.
Whichever the outcome, the cosmetic detail on the mystery Gundam looks very similar to Unicorn except for the head and the hands. The hands remind me of the clawed fingers that the Blitz Gundam (Gundam SEED) had. The head’s V-fin/crest appears to have alot of pieces on it rather than the traditional two prongs.
I’m sooooooooooo tempted to paint my second Unicorn in black and gold.
