I was out yesterday due to a fever which I needed to quickly recover from or else I would not be able to get my flu shot today. I am quite prone to flu, cough, colds and anything of that sort so to reduce the risk of being out sick, I signed up for a flu shot which was scheduled today. One of the requirements for taking the flu shot is that the person is not suffering from moderate to high fever. So the case of fever I had yesterday was quite a worry. I had no choice but to sit it out.
Anyways, I’m back. And what do I find at my desk? A new shirt from my colleagues in Chanhassen with the logo of our project on the left chest area. It looks awesome. I’ll post pics when I find time. Surprisingly I don’t have a lot of backlog emails when I got back. That’s probably because most of the work involved in our project is at the hands of the good product engineers in Germany. But we have work. Still lots of it. I also found a large package at the foot of my desk: a brand new HP Color Laserjet printer for the team. I’ll open this toy later and get it ready for some serious printing tasks.
Of course, I wouldn’t put up a post without talking about robots. The next Master Grade to be released this October is the Infinite Justice Gundam. I personally think they’ve milked the SEED/SEED Destiny franchise long enough. They ought to start producing UC Federation units again. V Gundam, dammit! Back from the dead I arise!
Looks good, and sort of makes me regret buying a 1/100 Infinite Justice.
And Bandai really does need to make a MG kit for Victory Gundam and Gundam X. Why no love for those Bandai, although I can understand them a bit with Victory Gundam, as that didn’t do so well with the Japanese audience.
