This is the first time I ever saw this cube so if this is old news, cut me some slack. This is crazy though. I don’t know how you’re going to move pieces around but obviously it appears to be a lot more complicated than the original version. I’d like to see it get sold here though and give it a try. Maybe I have a better shot at completing a cube with this one than with the original one. I was only able to complete that cube several times in my entire lifetime whereas my younger brother can have it jumbled up by any stranger, start walking and within three minutes or less, have a completed cube being tossed back to you.
Sells for around 2,000 yen. Is already out in Amiami.com. Image and info from Amiami.com.

It helps knowing that the algorithms to solving a rubik’s cube have been repeatedly posted on the net.
Also I still can’t solve my Haro rubik’s puzzle. It’s got eight faces and still I can’t get the Haro face back together. Yeah it’s a ball.
Wow, I never knew there was a Haro Rubik’s sphere. Mind posting a pic?
From my years of Rubik’s cube solving, I believe the pieces are shaped that way to make it so that you don’t need any colours, which would be great for colour blind cubists.
The sizes of the pieces look different but only that. The insides are probably still the same. Looks interesting though.
Sorry to say, I’m one of the people who can only complete 1 side of the cube. To this day, I’m trying to complete the one I have from 10 years ago.
Fun though..
